On Friday, April 10, the Fort Bend Education Foundation hosted its 2nd Annual Sink-a-Dink Pickleball Tournament at Pickle Point Southwest, presented by Houston Methodist Sugar Land Hospital. The event was a win on and off the court, netting an estimated $26,811. The fundraiser supports our Grants to Teachers and Schools programs, which provide opportunities to enrich and enhance the quality of education for all Fort Bend ISD students.

With nearly 120 enthusiastic players hitting the courts, the tournament combined friendly competition with a shared commitment to enriching the educational experience for all FBISD students.

This year’s 80s vintage summer camp theme added an extra layer of fun, with players showing off their creativity in Best Dressed (individual and pair). Teams also competed for the coveted “Fullest Cabin” award, celebrating the team with the most team spirit and players.

A heartfelt thank you to all event sponsors, players, and supporters for making our Pickleball Tournament a resounding success. Mark your calendar now for next year’s event: Friday, April 9, 2027! We can’t wait to paddle up again for Year Three!
